The opportunity: Veterinarian – Tropical Vets, Ingham

Tropical Vets is team focused and progressive, being one of only eight organisations able to achieve the AVA Employer of Choice accreditation. We have a career opportunity for a Veterinarian in beautiful NQ who is focused on animal welfare and upholding high Standards of Care.

Why Tropical Vets:

Tropical vets are a large family focused organisation who have a team of staff supporting our vets across multiple locations. We are very proud of our positive workplace culture and have a high employee satisfaction rate as determined by our annual staff survey.

Tropical Vets is a true mixed practice organisation with a great working environment, and we claim to have the best reputation in NQ due to our supportive teams and initiatives such as additional paid parental leave (on top of the existing Govt Paid Parental Leave Scheme).

We have embedded a career progression plan into our organisational structure for our Vets and Nurses, and even have the ability to aid Vets with the skills to establish their own clinics.

To top all this off, we host multiple employee social events throughout the year, and we believe we have one of the best Xmas functions around.

We are in close proximity to major ports and an international airport (Cairns), as well as some of the most beautiful attractions in Australia - Great Barrier Reef, Daintree Rainforest, Whitsundays and so much more.
